January Newsletter

Dear Friends

We are grateful for the blessings God has provided and the opportunities we have had to serve Him. January has been a fruitful month and we would like to share some of the things we have been doing in our ministry.

First, we had an opportunity to be a part of the March

For Life in Washington, DC. The teens from the youth group at our local church were heading to the march and we went along with them to show our support for the unborn.

There were thousands of people in attendance and it was great to see how many people from congress showed up to express their support. The picture taken of Michele shows the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, as he addresses the crowd. It seems to us that it should be a simple matter to determine that killing unborn babies is wrong and clearly violates God’s law, but the depravity of man and the trickery of the Devil is strong in our country.

After the march, we all walked over to the Museum of the Bible and took a tour of the recently completed facility. It was incredible to see the sheer volume of ancient Scrolls and Bibles in their collection. They had Bibles dating back to the 11th century and a large collection of Dead Sea Scrolls. Their collection also included a large collection of artifacts from biblical times. It was a time to reflect on God’s fulfillment of His promise to preserve His Word. We are grateful

for the opportunity to be able to see this incredible biblical history. If you are ever in the area or want to make a trip to Washington, D.C, we highly recommend visiting the museum but make sure to allow plenty of time to see everything!

Finally, much of our month has been spent in support raising and biblical studies. We were thankful to present our burden for the Gambian people to Harvester Baptist Church. They were gracious hosts and made us feel at home. The Lord has blessed us with opportunities to participate in two missions’ conferences over the next few months in addition to seven other churches in the Mid-Atlantic area. We will continue to make connections with churches in the coming months and make visits to share our burden for The Gambia.

Prayer Requests

Pray that God will continue to bless our efforts to set up appointments and present at churches.

Pray that funds will come in so the radio ministry in The Gambia will continue to broadcast to the lost.

Pray for the missionaries already serving in The Gambia

Thank you all for your prayers! Until next month…

In Christ,

The Reeds Patrick, Michele, Alyssa, Danielle, Luke
