Our vision is to spread the Gospel by building relationships followed by discipleship so the Gambian people will become leaders in local churches that send out their own missionaries. We are seeking to grow the kingdom of God through church planting in the urban area, equipping local churches, and overseeing the ABWE Mission guesthouse that is used by short-term teams and pastors.

To date, ABWE is reaching the Gambian people through literacy development, radio ministry, and education. We will also seek to work alongside Gambian leaders in business to develop strong, healthy relationships, generating opportunities to reach people in communities to whom we could not minister to otherwise. The fields in The Gambia are ripe for the harvest, but the laborers are few.
