It has been a huge transition packing up our lives in the Gambia for our time of home assignment in the United States. Saying goodbye is never easy, but God blessed us by allowing us to reconnect with you, our family, and friends. We are so excited to see many of you over the coming months. It has been a blessing to see so many in such a short time

One of our supporters, Faith Community Church, graciously welcomed us into a beautiful home in Camden, Delaware. Their overwhelming hospitality and generosity towards our family continue to touch us deeply. Since settling in, we have enjoyed many things that are typically American, including mountains, streams, waterfalls, amusement parks, Christian concerts, baseball games, blueberry picking, and delicious American foods.

We also had the pleasure of reconnecting with our sending church, Grace Baptist Church of Hurlock; updating a supporting church, Calvary Baptist Church of Denton; running the Vacation Bible School Bible time at Open Door Baptist Church, and presenting our ministry to Amazing Grace Church, which is now our most recent church supporter. We thank God for all these opportunities!

Most recently, we spent a week with the Delmarva Baptist Fellowship youth at camp Tohiglo. It was a wonderful week filled with prayer, play, and praise. Patrick and Michele taught two classes every day. While Michele assisted during game time, Patrick fine-tuned the worship sound system. We are truly grateful to God that during this time, He opened the hearts of six youths to come to salvation and many more to rededicate their focus on their relationship with God through Christ.

Prayers & Praises

~Pray for Patrick’s father Bruce’s cancer treatments.

~Praise God for the salvation of the youths and their discipleship over the coming months.

~Praise God for Alison's continued recovery

~Pray for Alyssa and her first semester at Liberty University.

~Pray for Joanne Tomkins, who continues alone in the village ministry for literacy.

~ Pray for how God will raise the needed 8% to return to the field.

~Pray for Joan Schmitz, who continues with guesthouse & NGO responsibilities.

In Christ,

The Reeds

Patrick, Michele, Alyssa, Danielle, and Luke
