October Newsletter
We have had a month packed with ministry and travel. In October we visited nursing homes, participated in a missions conference, and traveled to Florida to present our ministry in two churches. God has blessed us abundantly over the last four weeks!
In the beginning of the month, we were at a missions conference only about 30 minutes away at First Baptist Church in Seaford Delaware. We had a wonderful time with Pastor Barry Secrest and their growing congregation. It was exciting to see five people profess faith in Jesus Christ on the first day of the conference! At the end of the conference the church voted to financially support our ministry. What a blessing!

For the past week and a half, we have been in Florida. We stayed with the Kruppa’s, Pastor Bill Kruppa was the former youth pastor at our sending church in Maryland, and visited Sun Coast Baptist Church and Emmaus Baptist Church. We had a great visit at Sun Coast with Pastor Bryan Goebert and his family.

At Emmaus, they had a fall festival that we had the privilege of attending and serving those who came from around the community. They had bounce houses, slides, caramel apple making, pumpkin decorating, popcorn, cotton candy, and various games. The turnout was excellent with well over 100 people from the community bringing their children and families. The gospel was presented and invitations to attend church were given to those who attended the festival.

We also received word that Emmaus Baptist Church is going to financially partner with our ministry! Praise the Lord! In addition to those two churches, we also heard from another church we had presented in a couple of months ago that they were going to partner with our ministry. God continues to provide as we put in the effort to raise the needed prayer and financial support for our ministry in The Gambia. Our monthly support percentage is now at 43%. We pray that a few other churches who we previously visited this year will make decisions to partner with us during their discussions for next year’s budget and bring us to 50% by the end of the year.
Prayer Requests
