Dear Friends,
October was busy with travels and church meetings in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New York. We started the month off traveling to Bedford, PA for a meeting with Crossroads Bible Church. During Sunday school we shared our testimonies and our future ministry. Crossroads has a wonderfully faithful congregation, and we are grateful for their commitment to supporting our ministry to The Gambia almost on the spot. Just a few days later we attended First Baptist Church of Seaford's missions conference who is one of our faithful supporting churches. They collected a special offering helping our outfit and passage which has now reached 90% of the funding needed.

God's Beauty
The following week we traveled to beautiful upstate New York. Michele is always delighted to travel during this time of year to see the beauty of the changing autumn leaves. We started Sunday morning at Heritage Baptist Church in Canastota, NY where we were pleased to share our testimonies and our future ministry in the Sunday school hour. During the morning service, Michele taught children's church while Patrick preached the morning message. That evening we had another opportunity to share our ministry at Open Door Baptist Church in New Woodstock. We presented our ministry during the Sunday evening service and stayed in their second parsonage. We are very thankful for their great hospitality, unfortunately; we could not stay the week due to some commitments and headed back to Maryland.
We wrapped up the month as we traveled once again to upstate New York by heading to West Smyrna Baptist Church in West Smyrna. We did a combination presentation that included both our testimony and a message on the excuses we give God. We were so glad to have them host us for the night and for their wonderful kindness and hospitality during our stay.
God supplied great blessings this month. We had both individuals and a church to help increase our monthly support. This brings our monthly support level to 92%! We praise God for His blessings! Keep those prayers coming as we get another step closer to The Gambia.

Prayer Requests
Pray that God will raise up the remaining 8% of support so we may depart for The Gambia this year. Pray that God would call more people to The Gambian mission field.
Continue to Pray for Michele’s uncle who is undergoing cancer treatment.
Pray about who you can share our ministry with and encourage to become financial partners.
